After receiving her Ph.D. in English from the University of Iowa in 2007, Dr. Kelley spent a year at Northwestern University as a postdoctoral teaching fellow.  She then joined the faculty at AUM, where she regularly teaches British and American survey classes as well as upper-level courses in English and American modernism, Victorian studies, and children's literature.  Dr. Kelley has published articles in The Journal of Narrative Theory, Victorians, Virginia Woolf Miscellany, Children's Literature, The Edinburgh Companion to Virginia Woolf and the Arts, and several selected papers collections from the International Conference on Virginia Woolf.  She additionally has a book forthcoming on modernist women travelers.  A devoted cellist, Dr. Kelley also plays with the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra.
